BMS Music Director

Simon began his musical journey at the age of 5, learning first the violin and then the piano. He performed in many youth orchestras and choirs and had several of his compositions performed by his school Chamber Orchestra. At the University of York, Simon spent his time composing and working in local schools providing workshops to students of all ages and abilities.

Since completing his teaching degree in 2007, Simon has taught Music in international schools in Panama, Abu Dhabi, Cairo and, for the last 10 years, in Bangkok. Simon has conducted, directed, played the piano, sung and arranged for many adult choirs throughout his career. He is delighted to be the Music Director for the Bangkok Music Society Choir.
